Paul Smith, National Councillor for the FSB Cornwall Region said:
The election of Carol Wells as the Vice Chair of the Federation of Small Businesses is a result of all the hard work she has put into the Cornish Region and elsewhere in the South West to promote the Small Business person and the FSB through lobbying with Government Officers.

Current Regional Chairman of Cornwall Barbara Ellenbroek also added her congratulations saying: “ I am delighted to congratulate Carol on her achievement of becoming National Vice Chair of the FSB. In the 5 years that I have known her she has always shown a clear understanding of the issues facing Small Businesses, and has worked tirelessly to ensure that the voice of Small Business is heard in "the corridors of power". I know that she will bring the same energy and enthusiasm to her National Role that she did to her role as Cornwall Regional Chair.”
